OUR PHYSICIANS
ROBIN HENRY DRETLER, M.D., FIDSA, is a Fellow of the Infectious Disease Society of America,
board-certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine. He graduated from Hamilton College, Clinton, New York and Tufts
University Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Dretler completed graduate internal medicine training at Saint Elizabeth's
Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts followed by sub-specialty training in infectious diseases at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.
He has been in clinical practice at DeKalb Medical Center since 1983.
Dr. Dretler is secretary of the DeKalb Medical Society, past chief of internal medicine at DeKalb Medical
Center and past president of the Infectious Disease Society of Georgia (1984-1990).
HIEU T. NGUYEN, M.D. is board-certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine. She
completed her undergraduate studies at Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and her medical studies at the University
of Oklahoma School of Medicine. She received her graduate internal medicine training at the University of Florida Health Science
Center Jacksonville, Florida. Her sub-specialty training in infectious diseases was completed at the University of Texas M.
D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Society of Microbiology, and she has
been in clinical practice at DeKalb Medical Center since 1990.
MILTON DERRICK BODEN, M.D. is board-certified in infectious diseases, internal medicine and
wound care. He graduated from Davidson College, Davidson, North Carolina and the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia.
Dr. Boden completed both graduate internal medicine training and sub-specialty training in infectious diseases at Vanderbilt
University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. He started clinical practice in Atlanta in 1995.
ANSON KWAME WURAPA, M.D. is board-certified in infectious diseases and internal medicine.
He completed undergraduate studies at D'Youville College, Buffalo, New York and his medical studies at Upstate Medical University,
Syracuse, New York. He received his graduate internal medicine training at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
His sub-specialty training in infectious diseases was completed at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry,
Rochester, New York.
ADAM M. BRESSLER, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, infectious diseases
and clinical microbiology. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Michigan and valedictorian from
the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Bressler completed intership and residency in internal medicine at Duke University
Medical Center, Durham, NC and fellowship training in infectious diseases at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta,
GA.
